The "EJPress Peer Review System" (EJPress) is a fully-configurable system that manages the peer review process from manuscript submission through acceptance. The EJPress system is designed for journals that have more complicated workflows and/or desire the ability to utilize the 3000+ configure settings the system offers. Journal Eligibility - The EJPress system is available to journals with any number of submissions and any publishing frequency.
Configuration - There is a site-setup questionnaire used to gather each journal's configuration preferences. Journals choosing to purchase the EJPress system will have access to any of the nearly 4000 journal configuration settings. If a journal needs to request additional features, eJournalPress can provide custom coding, billed at $150/hour.
Training & Data Loading - 24 hours of consulting time are included in the setup fee for the EJPress system. 8 hours are allotted for training, 8 hours for configuration and 8 hours for data loading. The 8 training hours are generally handled over the course of several weeks in an initial 2-hour walkthrough session, followed by two 3-hour sessions for the journal staff. Training is handled via web conference and telephone.
Telephone/Email Support - eJournalPress is proud to provide individualized, one-on-one support service. Our trained support team can be reached readily either by telephone or email.
Online Support - Online help is supplied via an online KnowledgeBase. Journal staff, editors, reviewers, and authors can search for answers to common questions. The journal staff can also use this facility to ask new questions.
Additional Support - Additional support can be purchased at our standard hourly rate of $150/hour.
